GUYANANS … 51

The people of Guyana are called Guyanans. A little more than half of the population is of Asian Indian descent. About 43 percent are Afro-Guyanans, of African descent. There are also Amerindians (native people), Chinese, Portuguese, and other Europeans.

i have meet two females at work, both seem to think they are West Indians. When i pointed out they were in fact South Americans, they got upset. Not sure if they are confused or what? I even told them to look it up, if they did not know where their family came from, all i heard was screaming of @what ever.
